Make it or Break it: Groups
Most of the larger accomplishments made by humankind were the result of a collaborative effort of several individuals. These accomplishments reveal the common idea that two heads work better than one which stands true for most cases. Being in a group allows ideas and creative knowledge to almost 'bounce off' individuals within the group. More ideas are created and visualized or thought of in a new light when collaborating in a group. Also, group analysis allows problems to be seen faster and solutions to be developed quicker than if you were alone. All of these advantages will be mentioned within the case studies in the next sections.However, there are some disadvantages to working in groups which we will talk about in the case studies as said previously. SOme groups may not choose to listen to outside sources or ignore particular group members generally

causes more issues than those that do. Also, groups tend to have issues with leadership. People generally have a tendency to want to take power over others so leading can be quite messy. Leading a group, you will find is difficult to manage and your group can either become a great success or fail miserably. All of these tendencies will be talked about in the 3 areas of study within this project so we will go into more detail. However the 3 areas of study are: Art which represents a group that really had no issues and would called an "ideal group to have", Business represents a group that had problems with leadership, Science which represents a group that generally had to focus on group collaboration and recieveing input from within or outside the group. All of which represent the advantages and disadvantages of having a group.
